Here, high-altitude forests and ‘mistlands’ carpet the red sandstone plateaus, while sheer cliffs plunge 4,500 feet to the Blyde River below. Scads of waterfalls course over the cliffs, including Kadishi Falls, considered the world’s second-tallest tufa waterfall.
